1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Orange Lamp Studio, LLC, doing business as Orange Lamp Studio ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit jaydesigns.co or work with us as a client.

Orange Lamp Studio is owned and operated by Jarmal Wilcox and is located at PO Box 1411, Raeford, North Carolina.

2. What Information We Collect

When you visit the website:

We collect basic analytics data through Google Analytics and Framer's built-in analytics. This may include your IP address (anonymized where possible), browser type and device, pages you visit and how long you stay, the website or link that referred you, and your general geographic location (city/region level, not your address).

We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites. Framer and Google Analytics may set functional and analytics cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

When you submit an application:

The application form collects your name, email address, business name (if applicable), information about your coaching offer and audience, and any other details you choose to share. This information is used solely to evaluate fit and prepare for a potential discovery call.

When you become a client:

During the discovery call and intake session, we collect information about your business, your offer, your messaging, your audience, your voice and communication style, and your brand preferences. We also collect payment information (processed through a third-party payment provider — we do not store credit card numbers directly).

When you contact us:

If you email us or reach out through the website, we collect whatever information you include in your message.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your application and determine project fit, conduct discovery calls and intake sessions, build your brand system (identity, messaging, website, and related deliverables), communicate with you during the project, send invoices and process payments, provide post-delivery support, improve our website and services, and display completed work in our portfolio (with your permission — see Terms of Service, Section 10).

We do not use your information to send unsolicited marketing emails. If you opt into a newsletter or email list in the future, you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.

We may share limited information with the following types of service providers, only as needed to deliver our services:

Framer — Your website is built and hosted on Framer. Framer processes data related to your website's analytics and hosting. Their privacy policy applies to data collected by your live site.

Google Analytics / Google Search Console — Used for website analytics. Google's privacy policy governs how they handle this data.

Payment processors — We use third-party tools to send invoices and collect payment. These processors handle your payment data under their own privacy policies. We do not store your credit card information.

Email and communication tools — We use email, Slack, and project communication tools to coordinate during the project. These providers process message content under their own policies.

We will never share your confidential business information (offer strategy, pricing, client details, internal processes) with anyone outside the project. This obligation extends both during and after the term of our engagement (see Terms of Service, Section 11).

5. How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. This includes using encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website, limiting access to client information to authorized team members only, using secure third-party tools with their own security practices, and deleting or anonymizing client data that is no longer needed.

That said, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat your data with the same care we'd want for our own.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

Application data: If we don't move forward, we keep your application for up to 12 months in case you want to revisit. After that, we delete it. You can request early deletion at any time.

Client project data: We retain project files (brand assets, copy, design files) for up to 2 years after delivery, in case you need support or reference materials. After that, we archive or delete them.

Analytics data: Website analytics are retained according to Google Analytics and Framer's default retention settings.

Communication records: Emails and messages are retained as long as they're relevant to an active or recent project.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@orangelampstudio.com.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct any inaccurate information, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict how we use your data, and receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@orangelampstudio.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are designed for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we've collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to other websites (LinkedIn, YouTube, Framer, Calendly, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies when you visit them.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll note what changed. Changes do not apply retroactively.
