Framer Migration

A new home for the website.

You’ve already spent time on your pages, content, and the ways people get in touch. If making updates has become a hassle and you’re considering Framer, you want the move to account for that work. I help website owners move to Framer while preserving the content, brand, structure, and functions we agree should carry over, with room for the improvements your site needs.

Keep what’s useful as you move forward

A website you can keep working with.

Carry useful content forward.

Your existing pages, articles, and other agreed material have a place in the move. The work you want to retain is accounted for.

Keep important visitor actions in view.

The pages, links, and ways people contact your business remain part of what the website needs to support.

Understand what changes and what stays.

You have a clear account of the content, features, and improvements included, along with anything that needs a different approach.

Make everyday updates more manageable.

The editing setup and handoff are shaped around the agreed tasks you need to do, so you have guidance for keeping the website current afterward.

Moving platforms can bring up questions you didn’t have when the site was built.

Maybe your current website already explains the business well. It may have useful articles, links people use, or forms connected to tools you rely on. You want a different way to manage it, with a clear understanding of what that change means.

I’ll work with you to look at what’s worth keeping, what needs improving, and what needs checking. The aim is to find an approach that fits the website and the way you want to work with it.

A move to Framer may fit. A simpler replacement might belong with the One-Week Website, while a substantially different structure or functionality may need Custom. Staying on your current platform can also be the right recommendation. We work that out before you commit to the project.

How it works

Share your website and what you want to do differently.

Start with the migration inquiry. Tell me what you want to keep, simplify, or change, along with any content or features you’re concerned about. I’ll review the fit and follow up; a conversation may help us clarify the move.

Review the scope and project details.

Once we’ve assessed the work, I’ll send the proposal, agreement, and payment information. The project dates and required preparation are agreed around the actual website and my availability.

After you’ve accepted the agreement and your initial payment clears, I’ll send your Project Workbook, preparation instructions, and the included planning-session link.

Review the rebuilt website before it replaces the current one.

We’ll get the agreed content and access ready, then work through the rebuild and the included review. You’ll have two business days for each requested review, with the exact deadline and time zone made clear.

One round of changes within the agreed scope is included. You’ll bring your feedback together in one list, then we’ll check that the agreed changes are complete. If you ask for new work or a different direction, we’ll agree its cost and effect on the schedule before starting it.

Approve the transition.

We complete the agreed synchronization, refinements, and pre-launch checks before final approval. Any remaining payment clears before launch or transfer, and your permission to launch is confirmed separately.

From there, we carry out the agreed transition and checks. The handoff gives you the access, files, editing guidance, and account responsibilities you need to keep working with the site.

After the move.

We’ll look at the editing tasks you need to do and provide a short walkthrough, relevant Framer resources, and a 30-minute handoff call. You’ll also have a written record of ownership, subscriptions, responsibilities, and anything still outstanding.

Framer has visual editing and AI tools for working on your website, along with connections to compatible external AI assistants. That can give you ways to explore changes and review them before publishing. We’ll confirm the features, access, and ongoing costs that fit your project.

The included ten-business-day post-launch error-reporting window gives you a route to report verified problems against the agreed requirements. It doesn’t include ongoing content publishing, proactive monitoring, or a maintenance subscription. Any later work is separately agreed.

A few things you may be wondering.

Tell me what you’d like to keep—and what you’d like to do differently.

Share your current website, the changes you have in mind, and anything that needs to keep working. We’ll use that to work out whether a migration is the right next step.

Sending an inquiry doesn’t reserve a project slot, accept a quote, book an appointment, or trigger payment.
